Travel Insurance Sales & Service Representative

Major Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with our customers by connecting on a human level via telephone, email and live chat channels of communication. This is an inbound sales and service position, not telemarketing. Representatives are not required to solicit through outbound cold calling
  • Educate customers about travel insurance options and help them to navigate the various plans we offer to find the best one to meet their particular needs
  • Provide sales and service support to new and existing customers in a manner consistent with our reputation as a friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and professional organization

Requirements

  • Experience in customer service and an interest in helping people
  • Excellent communications skills and the ability to converse with a diverse customer base
  • Ability to work evenings and a weekend day (other days and shifts available with seniority)
  • Strong PC and keyboarding skills, and internet familiarity
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
  • Ability to obtain a RI Property & Casualty Producer’s license within six weeks of hire (we provide training)
  • A good sense of humor and ability to have fun while working in a professional environment
