Web Developer Manager / Lead / Guru
InsureMyTrip.com is a well-established and growing e-commerce business and we are actively expanding our Web Development team. We are looking for someone who will be a leader in all aspects of our development process including concept, best practices, architecture, and delivery. Our work style is open, collaborative, and fast-paced.
We're looking for someone who:
- has a passion for coding excellence
- knows and understands web and software development best practices
- can be a mentor to other development team members
- gets excited about new technology, especially web technology
- enjoys collaborating with a team and has strong interpersonal and communication skills,
- likes developing elegant solutions to complicated problems
You should have 10+ years working expertise in the following: Linux, MySQL, PHP5, Perl, XML/XSL, Javascript, AJAX, and SOAP based web services. A demonstrated proficiency in additional programming languages is a plus.
A bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field is helpful, but more important is applied professional experience – specifically ecommerce development.
