Cancel For Any Reason
OPTIONAL CANCEL FOR ANY REASON BENEFITS
If the Insured purchased the Optional Cancel for Any Reason Benefit and if the Insured cancels his or her Covered Trip for any reason not otherwise covered by the Policy, we will reimburse the Insured for the percentage of the unused, non-refundable, prepaid expenses for Travel Arrangements, as shown in the Cancellation Penalty Schedule below, provided:
1. the Insured's premium is received prior to or within 24 hours of the initial payment for the Covered Trip; and
2. the Insured is not disabled from travel at the time the Insured pays his or her premium; and
3. the Insured insures 100% of all prepaid Covered Trip costs that are subject to cancellation penalties or restrictions by the Travel Supplier; and
4. the Covered Trip cost per person is no more than $10,000; and
5. the booking for the Covered Trip must be the first and only booking for this travel period and destination; and
6. the Insured cancels his or her Covered Trip 48 hours or more before his or her Scheduled Departure Date.
