Travel Medical plans will reimburse your medical bills if you need to seek medical treatment while on your trip due to unforeseen injury or illness. Most regular health insurance plans (such as a plan you have through your employer) do not cover expenses when traveling abroad.
Medical Limit is used to determine your benefit amount for Travel Medical plans. It has no bearing for other plan types.
