  • Denmark
  • Estonia
  • Finland
  • France and Monaco
  • Germany
  • Greece
  • Hungary
  • Iceland
  • Italy
  • Latvia

  • That the insurance company who provides this coverage has offices located in Europe

The following plans provide the necessary coverages and a letter of proof as required by the Schengen Embassies:

Travel Visa Medical
A medical only plan developed specifically for the purpose of meeting the embassy requirements. This policy is valid for all Schengen countries and will automatically supply you with a letter for the Schengen Consulates which will display exactly the requirements the embassy's will need to see. This is almost always the ideal option and is usually the most affordable. This policy can only be cancelled if your visa is denied.
Travel Visa Plus
Just like the Travel Visa Medical, this plan is specifically designed to meet the Schengen embassy requirements, and also goes a little further. This plan is only available if you are looking to cover your trip cost as well as meet the embassy's qualifications. Like its counterpart, this plan will automatically supply you with a letter with the exact requirements the Schengen Embassy will want to see. This policy can only be cancelled within 10 days of purchase.
HCC Atlas International
IMG Patriot International/Patriot America
HTH Worldwide TravelGap Voyager (No longer available for purchase after January 1, 2014)

This policy can be cancelled any time prior to the effective date for a refund of premium minus any processing fees.
GeoBlue Voyager Essential

Note: The medical limits on some policies decrease for older travelers (usually age 80 or older). Please review your quoted plan to make sure all limits meet the embassy requirements.

Question:

my wife and i are traveling to London-Paris, Austin, TX, and I to Montana to fish. All 3 trips are between 4/25 and 6/28/14. Is there a blanket policy to cover all trips

Answer:

We do offer multi-trip medical plans, however, they only cover trips taken outside of your home country and they do not include benefits such as Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Travel Delay, etc. The Comprehensive Package Plans must be purchased on a per trip basis, you must insure from the day you leave your home until the day you return to your home.
