Thankfully, I did not use the insurance while on the trip. It would be nice if you gave something back to every purchaser who did not use insurance while away. Insurance coverage is so expensive, it limits amount of travel possible for retired individuals.

There was a delay in reimbursement on my medical claim. I needed an EOB from my Medicare Advantage Plan saying they wouldn't cover my medical expenses outside the US. Most US medical insurance plans don't cover medical expenses outside the US.
This is a minor point but they sent me two checks each covering half the claim amount: one to me who had the claim & the other to my wife. One check with both names on it would have been less confusing than two checks.
