I had never purchased travel insurance before, but did this time because others in the group mentioned they do & went through this site. I couldn't make sense out if the plans offered, exclusions etc, so I called & spoke directly with a knowledgeable rep. I told her what I needed & felt confident I made the right decision in purchasing the plan I did. I had to cancel my trip due to a family members medical condition, & was really bummed. I submitted the claim & it was a big hassle going back & forth sending more paperwork for a couple weeks as proof. In the end I'm happy though, because they finally paid the full amount I had insured (I mistakenly under-insured a little). I am SO glad I purchased travel insurance & will definitely be getting it again "just in case".

Fortunately we had no reason to use the plan. We have used it in the past and are satisfied with the costs involved, compared with most other plans, although our agent now offers plans that are very competitive. We will make a comparison on our next trip.
