We bought this plan as insurance against getting sick before the cruise as well as during the cruise, Plan cost seemed reasonable. I thought I was going to have a claim for lost luggage, but the airline finally found it a week after the flight. So I can't comment on how well the coverage was.

My husband and I travel a few times a year both internationally and domestically. On Call gives us peace of mind knowing that if we need medical evacuation services, they are available 24/7 to assist us with our needs. We purchased the plan for a year. We haven't had to utilize it, but it's available if we need it.

Thankfully I never had to touch it, although when making the purchase of the plan, it does smartly remind customers to print out the policy and bring it on the trip. I thought I might use it when we left because of an airline strike and questions on luggage delays, but it was over just as fast as it started and the group was instructed to put a change of clothes or so Ina carry-on. Good advice regardless of circumstances. At the departure end, we encountered a flight delay to a mechanical problem and the airline had to bring in another plane, and also provided customers with food vouchers.
