Joan would recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
Difficult to judge an insurance company unless one sees how easy it is to file a claim and not get the run-around.
Luckily I did not have to file a claim.

It was a bit confusing figuring out which pieces of paper I needed to print to bring with me on the trip.

Fortunately, we did not submit a claim so have no first hand experience with the coverage, which is what we were buying.

Having said that, we feel we needed coverage beyond what our US plans provided, this was one of the better if not the best plans we could find, the price was reasonable, and we have no regrets with our decision. It was simple and a minor addition to the cost of our trip.

One thing that should be noted is that we chose this plan because it had car rental insurance that was not necessary as Hertz in South Africa includes an amount in the daily rental for insurance with no option to exclude their insurance. Fortunately it was not necessary but still annoying to pay double!
