The real test of an insurance policy comes about when a claim is filed. Thankfully we have never had process a claim.
For our next trip to the Antarctic next February I gave up on attempting to evaluate the coverage on your site and went with the Vantage Travel package.
At our age medical evacuation from a remote area is of critical importance and I just couldn't figure it out.
Perhaps some effort can be spent improving the site in terms of a simplified side by side comparison without having to go over endless explanations.

We had a major health scare early in the trip and were afraid we would have to hurry home. Ultimately all was well and our trip continued, but we were greatly reassured by knowing that the policy was in place to take care of us if we had to cancel the rest of the itinerary. The policy wasn't cheap, but the peace of mind it bought was priceless as we sat in the emergency room.

We went on a 5 night cruise to the Bahamas with our 9 year old daughter. We bought the insurance in case of medical evacuation. The policy covered that and more. I love using this company because they will mail you a printed out copy of the policy (at no extra charge!) so you don't have to use 20 sheets of your own paper and printer ink!! You get an emailed file of course. If you are traveling somewhere without internet a paper copy is good to have on hand. I got the papercopy within 4 days of ordering the insurance. Quick mailing!

Having trip insurance provided peace of mind both before and during our travels. We didn't have to worry about the unexpected occurring because we were covered for both travel and health related issues. Fortunately we did not need to file a claim, but having the insurance made the whole trip more enjoyable.
