I actually did file a claim on a trip a few years ago, and claims service was fair and prompt. This, plus the competitive price and decent coverage, were what convinced me to buy TC&II once again from this provider. As always, I compare providers and buy using InsureMyTrip.com, and find the AMEX GTS product good and reliable.

Given the vast array of choices, I found the easiest way to select the coverage I needed was to speak directly with a customer care representative. While I did not need to use the insurance, I felt better having it, especially with parents in their nineties!

I fainted in the street and feared i would need an ambulance to go to the er. i recovered quickly and continued on but it was reassuring to know i had medical insurance coverage on case it happened again or turned out to be a more serious problem. the cost is worth the peace of mind it provides.
