Insurance not needed, but our last trip I had an illness and needed to us the insurance for medical and flight costs. I was happy with the help I got from your agents, and most of our bills were refunded. I would, and do, plan to continue using them.

After seeing someone air lifted off the cruise ship, it made us very glad we had insured our trip as we always do. The couple traveling with us had not and suddenly realized how important it is to do so.

I have had an American Express green card since 1965--
I got it for my first trip to Europe that year.

So naturally I was happy to learn that American Express offered travel insurance. Maybe that should be made more obvious to cardholders or offer a deal
to them, perhaps a discount. Or be able to use miles.

We didn't have any issues to create a claim but
based on my long-time experience with American
Express I'm confident it would be handled well.
