I filed a claim for trip interruption. I set out my claim evidence as clearly as I could, but still impressed with the promptness of AmEx's response. The claim was processed very quickly and fully.

Could not travel due to unexpected surgery on pre-existing condition. Reimbursement process was fair and easy. Never had to do this before (hope never to again), but was glad we had them.

Fortunately, I didn't have to make any claims, although I must admit I felt a lot easier about having to disembark from one plane and run across the aisle to catch the tail end of the line boarding my next connection, knowing if my bags were lost, I wouldn't have to rely only on the airline!
