This insurance plan seemed a good purchase. Though, to be honest, it's hard to gauge the true value of the plan until a claim is made and one has the chance to see how the company responds. Thankfully, I had no need to make any claim, as I was able to make the trip without any problem. I would use InsureMyTrip again.

With elderly parents, I had peace of mind that if something happened requiring me to cancel the trip, insurance would help me recover expenses so that I could reschedule. Thankfully, this did not happen, but the worry was relieved.

John would not recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
After reading the contract, I am glad I did not require any of the services. So many conditions that it would seem almost impossible to qualify for benefits without paying for them myself. But the price was right and worth the risk.
