GERMANO would recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
Frankly, the insurance plans are much too costly, it would be nice if group policies could be purchased. Frankly, our main concern is medical evacuation - the other items, though expensive, are more palatable.

A really meaningful review would require we use the insurance and file a claim. Luckily, we didn't have to. But I give Travelex full marks for providing the coverage we needed in a reasonably clear package. We went to Antarctica, no less, with a ton of air and ground connections, so really needed the lost luggage and the evacuation coverage. Our expedition leaders reviewed our insurance carefully, and they fully approved the Travel Select plan. So although I have no claims experience, I was pleased with the peace of mind.

Claim paid within two weeks. I had broken a tooth on a ship and could not get it repair until I returned to states. While they paid for doctor consult on the ship, this policy, as most, did not cover necessary follow-up treatment after you arrive home.
