Mark would not recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
Plan has too many exclusions. To waive pre-exisiing conditions must purchase plan when making a deposit on a trip. No one told me this. Some plans provide this coverage if insurance is purchased within 10 days of final payment. Plan seems to be quite expensive for provided coverage. Plan written in legalese, difficult to get a clear understanding of what is covered and what is excluded. Wish it were written in 'plain' English.

Travelers have two kinds of trips: Short trips and those which are longer. It is difficult to get coverage for the typical 3 months visa or those which are even longer. Since we always go for at least 3 months, I cannot recommend this policy for similar trips.
