RICHARD would recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
It seemed to be a long time for settlement. I would have thought that the company was more efficient in processing my claim, Nov. 3 to Jan 6, 2012. I had to call several times to monitor the process, but, the settlement seemed adequate. That's a long time to hold my money without the benefit of reinvestment.

I would like to be able to get lower prices if we don't make a claim, My husband and I travel several times a year were we purchase insurance and thank the Lord we have yet to use it.

Although we didn't need to use the coverage, it was comforting to know that if we did need to rearrange our plans, we had the travel insurance to cover our extra expenses.

Although I haven't read the fine print, I guess the coverage would have been OK, but in any event I didn't need to find out because, in spite of two delayed flights and missed connections going out, I managed to get to my destination close to the estimated ETA and on the trip back my luggage arrived two days later at home.

It is hard to say if this was a good deal because I never used it. It is nice to have the insurance and the piece of mind it brings. The phone rep was very nice and helpful when I purchased the cover. Outside of that I never talked to anyone else.
