We purchased the Travel Guard Gold package which provided coverage of all the important parts of our trip. This enabled us to relax and have a wonderful time. This is money well spent especially when we had no problems at all.

I shouldn't have purchased insurance. I bought it to ease my wife's mind. However, the insurance cost 9% of the cost of the whole trip. That is way too much.

I felt very confident that I would be covered for any medical emergency or travel inconvenience so I was able to enjoy the trip without these worries. My past experience, when I did have to make a claim, was very positive so I felt reassured that this would be the case this time as well.

I find it very difficult to review the quality of coverage because, I am happy to say, nothing occurred to me and I did not have to make any claims against the Policy. Travel insurance is expensive - I chose coverage that I believed would be adequate and then chose the least costly plan I could find. Your site provides comparison of cost which is very helpful. What I can't tell unless I make a claim, is how the various companies might compare in service when claims are made.
