I 'Insured my Trip' last year using Travelex and the cruise I was on had problems resulting in a very late arrival in Ft Lauderdale. I had to rebook my flight for the next day and incurred a fee for that along with a hotel room and a meal. I filled out a claim upon arriving home and received a check covering everything, no muss no fuss

I have purchased trip insurance on InsureMyTrip since 2000/01. Some years I’ve purchased insurance more than once per year, depending on my travels. Purchased different brands depending upon what company provided coverage for my destination country. Although I have only had to use my trip insurance (file a claim) a couple times, there was no problem and coverage was promptly provided under the terms of the policy. I recommend to all of my fellow travelers (often I travel with groups of 50 people or more) to always purchase trip insurance. I especially recommend the company that I have actually had a claim processed with, as I know they provide the coverage promised.
