We had no reason to use our policy. We were very lucky with everything but we paid for the security of knowing that we were protected. I wondered if any thought was ever given to returning customers that never had a claim after several trips?

The process of buying the trip insurance was a breeze. Its a bit overwhelming though that there are so many insurance companies to compare and choose from.
One can only try their best to compare the protection benefits of all the companies against each other. It helps that the website has a "compare plans" function.
As to claiming of benefits, I can not comment because my trip went well with no mishaps and have nothing to claim. For this I am thankful. If anything happened and I had to claim some benefits, I might be having a totally different review depending on what things I encounter trying to file the claims.
In short, I give very good reviews to the ease and security of obtaining trip insurance and no comment or n/a on benefit "claims" process as I did not go thru this process

Good coverage at a reasonable cost. Much better than the plans offerred by the tour companies. Plus what good is their insurance if the tour company gets into financial trouble?
