I called them when I knew the trip would not happen due to the death of my traveling companion. They told me what paper work to submit which I did and I received the reimbursement money in 2 weeks.

Since we are getting older, we decided to get trip insurance that covered everything, but it was quite expensive. We had a successful trip and didn't have to make any claims.
