howard would recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
I had compared with other companies and this did give a bit better value. Until one has a claim however, one never knows if an insurance company is good or not. So, hopefully I'll never have to find out.
The folks at "InsureMyTrip.com" were great. Very helpful and did most of the comparison work for me.

I would have appreciated this kind of contact either before or during my trip instead of just afterward- but I appreciate getting it now instead of NO contact. My trip was 6 weeks in China- 2 weeks on an organized tour and 4 weeks traveling on my own. I am in jet lag right now but my trip was so different than what I thought it would be. I ended up being in Shanghai most of the time and met wonderful people and shared an artist studio. China is what I imagine Japan was like 20 years ago.

The plan seems to be good protection during some travel - especially international. We never needed the insurance (thankfully) so I cannot comment on the efficiency/responsiveness of the company.
