Well, I didn't need to file a claim, so I can't say anything about that. However, the sign up-process was smooth, the costs fairly reasonable and I could leave with peace of mind. Will buy same insurance again for my next trip.

AG (Allianz Global) plan was the best value in a market place that is overpriced across the board. The reason all travel agents hype this is because they get paid well. But if you want coverage, you would do well to consider the AGAB (Allianz Global Assistance Basic) plan as the best alternative I found.

The purchase process and selection of desired benefits is quite easy. Price is very competitive. I didn't have a claim, but the claim process seems fair, read the contract!
