I think "Medevac" insurance is one of the best trip insurance plays you can make.....especially when a long way from home or out of the country.
I recommend it to all my friends who are traveling out of the country. If you're seriously injured a long way from home, the last thing in the world you want is to be stranded for financial reasons.
Granted, it's one of those ironies of life: it's a policy that you purchase, praying fervently that you'll never need to find out how well it works!
How much is "peace of mind" worth?

Thank Heaven we didn't need to use our plan. It was very inexpensive for what we needed, medical care and repatriation, as we were on a 2 week cruise. Also covered our return if a loved one at home got ill. The agent was informative but couldn't comment specifically about one plan or another except to say what was covered. I will use InsureMyTrip again for travel.
