It is always good to have a plan if something goes wrong, and things do go wrong. By purchasing travel insurance for a past trip we were able to recoup almost all expenses paid for that trip and also the cost of emergency flights to get home.

Corinne would not recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
We had a problem come up on the weekend. When I tried calling Travelex I was disappointed to find out that they only offer assistance with medical emergencies outside of regular office hours. They had no customer service representatives available on the weekend.

    We are sorry to hear of the difficulty you experienced while traveling. It is important to note that there are multiple ways to get in touch with the insurance company. If possible, you can reach the insurance company via email or even file a claim via their website. If you were experiencing an emergency, you could also call the 24/7 emergency assistance line.
