We were fortunate not to have to file a claim so it is difficult to rate how good the plan and service are. More or less everything on paper was fine; decent coverage at a fair rate.

Margaret would recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
I hurt my lower back the week before my planned scuba diving trip. I reviewed the American Express Global Travel Shield plan details and it looked like I would be covered for cancellation. I ended up making the trip. I didn't dive but had a good time with friends. It was very reassuring to have the insurance and know that if I absolutely could not make the trip I would get my investment back. The email wishing me a good vacation and this offer to provide feedback were both something I appreciated. Thank you
