On this particular trip, I didn't need to use any of the insurance features purchased (a safe trip). The peace of mind that it brings to me having purchased the travel insurance should the need arise was awesome.
I did purchase a travel medical insurance plan for a trip to Costa Rica in 2008 from "InsureMyTrip" and utilized it after a motorcycle accident left me with a broken right leg (Tibia). I needed immediate surgery and 4 days in the hospital in Costa Rica and all was covered except the small deductible. All things were handled in an expeditious manner with NO problems.
I would recommend travel medical to anyone going abroad.

Doesn't every insurance company do a magnificent job when no claims are involved? Having had no claims experience with this company, how could I rate it other than good/adequate/excellent/superior, etc. etc. ??
