The premium was a bit more than I've ever paid in the past, but I suppose you had to take into account the travel threat of the volcanic ash cloud which could have canceled a great many trips. I'm just thankful it didn't cancel mine.
I did appreciate your email just before the trip, wishing me well, and the follow up after the trip. And who says insurance companies have hearts of stone???
