I was thoroughly pleased with the TruTravel Super Saver plan. It provided all the coverage I needed at a true Super Saver price. Thank you for your personal care in preparing the plan.

I have many friends and have raved about Travel Guard to all of them, two have already signed on with their next trip.
I have used Travel Guard on a number of occasions but luckily have never needed them, therefore I wouldn't have known how excellent they were.
However on my last trip to Israel, I got sick and had to cancel my scheduled flight back. The people at Travel Guard were so considerate and respectful and told me what I needed from the doctor and then took care of my arrangements and everything else when I was able to travel. I work in Healthcare and frankly find customer service at an all time low therefore, I was shocked by the wonderful way I was treated. They even called the day I got home, to find out how the trip went and to find out if there was anything I needed!! Hopefully I will never need to call on them again but I certainly will use their flight insurance each time I fly.

Thankfully I never had to touch it, although when making the purchase of the plan, it does smartly remind customers to print out the policy and bring it on the trip. I thought I might use it when we left because of an airline strike and questions on luggage delays, but it was over just as fast as it started and the group was instructed to put a change of clothes or so Ina carry-on. Good advice regardless of circumstances. At the departure end, we encountered a flight delay to a mechanical problem and the airline had to bring in another plane, and also provided customers with food vouchers.

My wife and I had planned our 25th Wedding Anniversary 3-week trip to the Mid-East (Israel, Jordan, and Istanbul)in June 2012.

I did not purchase Trip Insurance when the airline tickets were booked, but my wife kept suggesting that given the political unrest, we should buy the insurance which I did in January 2013.

Exactly one week prior to our May 12th departure, I fell in our home. I went to the Urgent Care Center in Wilmington, DE thinking that I had only bruised a muscle in my leg. X-rays were taken and the attending physician asked if I had travel insurance informing me that I had fractured my fibula and would be in no condition to travel to the Mid-East.

I filed an onlineclaim with Allianz and provided all of the necessary medical recorts, trip costs, etc. Our claim was promptly handled and we were sent checks to reimburse us for the the cost of our tickets to the mid-easet. Allianz was fantastic.

I will never plan another trip without also purchasing Trip Insurance.

Luckily, I had no need of calling upon my insurance on this trip, but my travel companion did. I was very much impressed with the accessibility and expertise of the person who answered her call, even with the 7 hours' time difference. Her need for emergency dental care was handled and the repair completed within a few hours of the initial call. you'll be my go-to insurance program whenever i travel.
