Rosalie would recommend this plan to a friend or relative.

I was upset that I had the preexisting condition exclusion. Worried that this clause would make it difficult to get coverage if I needed it. Didnt know that only by purchasing coverage simultaniously with plane tickets would I not get this exclusion. I dont always have all of my plans set at the same time. Otherwise, the plan was adequate.

There were two wonderful results regarding the use of your insurance product. The first is the knowledge that our travel and investment and health were protected and the second is that we did not need to use it. This may sound odd but because we knew we had the coverage we were able to relax and enjoy our travels.

We had no problems so the plan was fine! It did provide a sense of security since Lufthansa was in a potential strike situation, so we were happy to have the insurance.

michael would not recommend this plan to a friend or relative.

I purchased this policy because of the payment for trip delay of 6 hours or more. Since international travel was involved I wanted to be compensated for lost time in case of flight delays and/or cancellations. Since my return flight was cancelled in Chicago and I was over 12 hours late getting home I filed a claim for the $250 per day delay coverage. It was denied. I was told it would only reimburse for expenses. This is not what the policy reads. I will never use your company again and will certainly tell anyone looking for "insurance" that your company is only a reimbursement company, not an insurance company.

The Travel Delay on this plan states must show proof of expenses (receipts) you had due to the covered delay.

Um, that's how all insurance works. You get actual expenses paid up to a set amount. Sounds like you wanted a windfall and they rightly denied you.
