On the 10th day(AM) of 12 day cruise, on a shuttle, I had what seemed to be a TIA and was taken to a clinic, then helicoptered to an Athens hospital. It was determined I had asymptomatic pneumonia, both lobes, and anoxia due to that---blood pressures were up and I was retaining fluid.I was well taken care of in Athens, then flown home with a nurse companion. Travel Insured and On Call International took care of the details and kept in contact with me and my family. Everyone was so nice!

We purchased this plan to provide coverage for a 2 week trip to Italy. The coverage that was most important to us was the medical coverage and emergency evacuation coverage. While we are in good health, being in our 60s made this feel like important coverage. Our trip was fabulous and we had no need to file a claim but the piece of mind was worth the money spent on the plan!
