Even though we did not need to use it, we had peace of mind knowing it was there if needed. Recommendation from Clark Howard's talk show made us feel fine to purchase for our trip to Jamaica. Vacation is about having a good time, exploring or just relaxing, however, we all know how stressful it can become if schedules are altered or worse, if one becomes sick or is injured. If you like peace of mind this policy is great. Days before my trip I was faced with a threat that would have cost me my entire trip. Fortunately, I was able to go, but had I been unable to make it at least my cost would have been refunded. During my trip to Jamaica I kept saying to everyone that I had insurance so if something happened I would be in good hands. Save yourself the stress and spend a few bucks to protect yourselves. Besides, aren't vacations supposed to be that way?
