Trip to a small town in Mexico 6-8 hours drive east of Puerta Vallarta. Thankfully did not need to file a claim but was glad to have the classic insurance plan particularly for the help it would have offered to my minor-aged son who was traveling with me. If anything had happened to me, there would have been help to either fly him home or to have someone flown down to be with him. Knowing that he would be taken care of in the event of unforeseen health issues made the whole trip so much more relaxing for me. Prior to our trip, the Helpline rep I spoke to about a question I had was helpful and courteous. In the midst of a stressful pre-trip week, I appreciated that.

Obviously, one can only comment if one makes a claim. I did not but prior to travel I was contacted by InsureMyTrip to let me know what my options were because Carnival cruise lines was cancelling some cruises. We weren't affected by Carnival but it was good to get the communication from InsureMyTrip. Thanks!
