T would not recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
It was easy to get and the price was right. They provided sufficient paperwork (via internet) to maintain my confidence. One needs something like this to have peace of mind when far from home.
On the other hand I was fortunate enough not to need to use it. So I can't comment on function fulfillment. I would tell my friends to look into it and make their own decision, as I had, but would not "recommend" what I hadn't used.

I always obtain travel insurance from InsureMyTrip for overseas travel and have been very satisfied with coverage and cost. Fortunately, I have not had to file a claim.
