Collene would recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
Fortunately, I did not have to use the insurance, so I do not have any evidence as to how the company would have handled a claim. This being said, I have no reason to think the company would not have responded positively toward a claim. I think the policy covered needed items at a reasonable rate.

I reluctantly took out insurance only to have my traveling companion die two months before our departure. American Express Global Travel Shield Plan reimbursed me in full for my expenses without any hassle.
