Have purchased trip insurance every trip we have taken. Fortunately, we haven't needed to use it, but it is comforting to know we have protection when traveling.

Darren would not recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
The process was very long and drawn out. At the end of the day I was satisfied with the compensation amount. I was, however, not at all satisfied with the whole process. My loss was reported on 2/5/2011. I provided all the requested documentation on 2/16/2011. I did not receive a check until 5/5/2011, exactly 3 months after the initial loss. In addition to providing all the requested documentation on 2/16/2011, on 3/22/2011, it was requested of me (after I CALLED IN to check the status of things) to send a lot of the same documentation that had been sent over one month prior. I provided essentially the same documentation on 3/25/2011, with more explanation. It still took more than another month for my claim to be processed, after several more phone calls on my part.
