I did not need to use my insurance, so my experience is only based on what I was offered, Thankfully I did not have any problems that required me to file a claim.

Had our European trip cancelled at the last minute due to an air traffic controller strike in Lisbon, Portugal. Although our trans-atlantic carrier immediately provided a full refund, we needed to also cancel our European flight segments - as we were also flying from Portugal to Spain and within Spain - as well as our first night's deposit for our hotel. We contacted a Tru-Travel claims representative who proved to be very professional and courteous; she immediately began processing our claim once we provided payment verification for our flights and hotel.
Within several weeks we received a check in the mail for all our non-refundable payments.

Very pleased with Tru-Travel and their customer service. I would highly recommend them.

Fortunately, I've never had to use any of the Travel Guard plans that I've purchased, so I don't know how "user friendly" the policies are!

Autumn would recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
We needed to cancel my trip under the "for any reason" category and received 75% of our cost back in under 2 weeks. Of course, 100% back would have been completely satisfying, but just having the assurance that we weren't losing all of the trip cost was fantastic. I will definitely use this company in the future when I travel.

I would not want to travel without some protection, very glad I didn't need it. However the specific plan used was recommended by a friend who did need to file a claim..
and the claim was very highly satisfactory to my friend, prompt and efficient.

We have used InsureMyTrip to compare and purchase travel insurance plans for over 5 years and find the service both helpful and exceptional. Our CSA plan is top-notch and affordable. We would like to see more options for annual all-inclusive travel insurance plans. Any possibility?
