This insurance was recommended by a friend. I've traveled extensively and never before purchased insurance. Since I didn't have a need to use the insurance while traveling, it's a bit difficult to rate. I will say that the process of finding out which insurance I needed and signing up was effortless. I received everything that I needed promptly. If I decide to purchase insurance again, it will be this one.

I cancelled my trip the morning before my flight and Global Alert would not refund my money even though I provided proof of cancellation and did not file any claims. I would not use this company again for any future trips that I have planned.

InsureMyTrip

Unfortunately you must cancel your trip before the departure date on your policy and show proof of no claims and no penalties to be able to use this policy for another trip. If you had canceled within the 10 day free look you would've received your monies back less the administration fee.
