David would not recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
I cancelled my trip the morning before my flight and Global Alert would not refund my money even though I provided proof of cancellation and did not file any claims. I would not use this company again for any future trips that I have planned.

    Unfortunately you must cancel your trip before the departure date on your policy and show proof of no claims and no penalties to be able to use this policy for another trip. If you had canceled within the 10 day free look you would've received your monies back less the administration fee.

Although I didn't have to use it. It did gave me some peace of mind knowing that it was there. the purchase was simple and I would use them again on my next trip.
