Luckily I did not have to file a claim. I purchased the insurance for peace of mind. I also purchased the Cancel for any Reason option, just in case I need to cancel the trip due to unforeseen family/work event and still would be able to get most of my money back.

I never needed trip insurance before and Allianz made it easy to purchase my needed coverage. I traveled more easily knowing that if an emergency should arise while I was on Bimini, I would be taken care of.

We went on a 5 night cruise to the Bahamas with our 9 year old daughter. We bought the insurance in case of medical evacuation. The policy covered that and more. I love using this company because they will mail you a printed out copy of the policy (at no extra charge!) so you don't have to use 20 sheets of your own paper and printer ink!! You get an emailed file of course. If you are traveling somewhere without internet a paper copy is good to have on hand. I got the papercopy within 4 days of ordering the insurance. Quick mailing!
