You can look at it both ways, it was fortunate we didn't have to use it but fortunate we had it just in case! It was easy to purchase and affordable. I didn't have to file a claim which I believe is where true ratings come in handy and are authentic. This company came highly recommended throughout my research so I felt good purchasing from them. However, as mentioned, until you have to ask for reimbursement & make a claim that's the true test!

I did not have a claim to file, but I chose this plan based on claim handling rating from other users before I went on my trip. The price was reasonable too. If I bought insurance with my cruise ticket, it would have been much more expensive for the same plan.
