I didn't need to file a claim so I can only report on the purchase part of the plan. It was easy to purchase and I was able to print out my policy including a card to carry with me when I went ashore. I had peace of mind, knowing I had insurance in case I needed it at a good price.

I did not have to file a claim, but because of the October 8th/9th storm in the northeast, I was extremely concerned about missing our cruise out of Miami on October 9th. Our airline reservations were for mid-day October 8th and many flights had already been cancelled on the evening of October 7th. I called Travel Guard on 10/7 to review my options and spent a half hour on the phone with a TG representative, who reassured me that, if the flight was cancelled, TG would do everything possible to make alternate arrangements to get us to the port of embarkation or to the first port of call. Fortunately, our flight was the last flight to Miami out of LaGuardia that day and everything worked out as planned. It was comforting to know that Travel Guard was ready to assist in any way possible. I wouldn't insure with anyone else.
