Trip as a couple to Dominican Republic. Specifically picked the Global Alert! Preferred Plus plan since it had Cancel For Any Reason benefit at 90% the cost of the trip since my girl's family life can make getting away very difficult. I had to file a claim using this benefit. I documented everything (receipts, confirmation notices, Jetblue Getaways cancellation email) as PDF and printed it all out and postal mailed it to the claims dept. I was able to check the claim progress online, until I noticed it stalled. I called every couple days to check the status. It was approved and I received the check for 90% the cost within 30 days of cancelling. I would go with Global Alert again.

Was unable to take the trip due to medical reasons and had to file a claim and then an amended claim. The process for filing the claim and the amount of time to receive payment was excellent. Very easy process and very timely. Most definitely will continue to purchase this plan for future trips.
