Rick would recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
My main reason was for the medical since I don't have regular insurance. During my trip I was hospitalized for 2 days. TravelSafe sent me the complete amount in around 2 weeks after filing the claim. Just make sure you have all of your receipts.

I have never purchased travel insurance before. I was going on a bird watching adventure to the Philippines for 3 weeks and the tour operator required insurance of all participants. My first outgoing flight was cancelled and I spent the next day trying to catch up to the group. It was awful. I was responsible for the costs to get me caught up to the group. I had no problem with Travel Guard even though it took months to get all the details of expense from everyone. I will buy trip insurance always now from you.. thank you!
