The trouble with reviewing trip insurance is that you never know whether the policy was good or not until you need it, and luckily we did not on this trip. But InsureMyTrip.com is helpful for pointing out how policies differ from each other and which is the cheapest for the same coverage. The package that the airlines offered at the end of the plane ticket booking process turned out to be a little more money for less coverage than the TravCan Premier plan that we bought from Insuremytrip.com.

The Web site's comparison charts are clear and essential to sifting through various plans and making a sensible decision. Although I did not need to use it, having good coverage made the trip more worry-free and enjoyable for me and my family back home.
