John would recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
I have had an American Express green card since 1965--
I got it for my first trip to Europe that year.

So naturally I was happy to learn that American Express offered travel insurance. Maybe that should be made more obvious to cardholders or offer a deal
to them, perhaps a discount. Or be able to use miles.

We didn't have any issues to create a claim but
based on my long-time experience with American
Express I'm confident it would be handled well.

The purchase process went very well, and the plan appeared to cover what we needed. However, we did not file a claim, so we do not know how that process would have worked. I have no way to evaluate that.
