The problem which arose for me was toothache--I had dental coverage , but only for a pristine tooth...now as a 52 year old woman the chances of me having pristine teeth are fair reduced..the tooth problem was with a tooth which had already been dutifully taken care of by myself . Alas it needed patched up...I had to pay for this myself. It concerned me that if I am here for any length of time I may not be able to find suitable dental cover. thank you.

Didn't have to use any of the coverage but was glad to have the protection. With the airlines, hotels, and travel in general being in such a state of disrepair, it's good to have a little peace of mind.

The good news is that I've never had to use my insurance. So I can't really judge the "quality" of my selection. I'll continue to buy it and hopefully never have to make a claim or find out if I made the right choice

We got caught in the evacuation before hurricane Issac hit New Orleans. Had to rent a car and drive to Memphis to meet our group. Allianz quickly reimbursed us for the rental car, gas, and extra two nights lodgings. Thanks.
