peace of mind knowing that if some medical issue happened while traveling the rural northern areas of Vietnam, Lao, and Thailand that we had the resources and backing to get ourselves out and get some help. I like the package plans vice plan medical plans since coverage includes expenses for my traveling companion.

Rodger would not recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
Total waste of money. Their 24/7 assist line was a joke. I called every number listed and either could not get through or get a disconnected message. In desperation i sent them an email shown below. Note the robo-mail reply

I am having trouble placing a call to you from Vietnam every number i try comes up disconnected and i need to talk with a rep about situation i am in if you could get back to me as soon as possible it would be greatly appreciated i have to go to Korean air ticket office tomorrow April 18 between 8 am and 5 pm Vietnam time... thank you ..

Melissa would recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
Fortunately, I did not have to process a claim, so I cannot speak to how well the plan would come through. However, for a fairly decent price, I was able to purchase travel insurance, which is basically purchasing peace of mind, which was especially nice to have when traveling overseas.

My husband & I booked a trip traveling extensively across Vietnam. We booked full coverage, emergency evacuation, & flight cancellation/trip protection. Our travel insurance & booking was simple, easy & fast. I did it over the phone with an attendant's help & recommendations in a matter of minutes. Luckily we had no events or need to use our policy, but the peace of mind & good coverage was much appreciated.
