Thankfully, We did not need to file a claim but thought we might need to use it on our last trip! We were flying out the day the East coast got hit with the Nemo blizzard and almost missed our flight & cruise due to extensive airport cancellations! We have never been so thankful to have travel insurance. Will always have coverage in the future! It's worth every penny!

We just had basic insurance needs in case something would fall through. Did not need it (thank goodness) but it is a must now a days.

Considering the costs associated with the insurance were only $360, an $88 plan was excessively expensive and I would look elsewhere in the future.

    Thank you for your review. It is important to note that this policy, as with all package policies, offer more coverages than just protecting the cost of your trip. Examples include: Emergency medical, emergency medical evacuation, and baggage coverage just to name a few. Allianz also offers the Basic policy which would offer a lower policy price.

As we had no problems on this trip, the plans coverage was not called upon to assist. After our last big trip, and the problems of the New Zealand earthquake, it was a pleasure not to deal with insurance claims.
