I had to cancel my trip because my elderly Mother fell and broke her hip. I filed all the required documentation with the initial claim. Allianz requested additional documentation which I immediately faxed. I called 10 days latter and was told they hadn't received the documentation even though I have the fax receipt. I faxed the documents again. I received payment over a month after the claim was filed. In summary, Allianz did pay the claim, but could have made the process smoother and faster.

I could only give a review on the purchase of the insurance. Thank God we didn't need to use the insurance on our past cruise! The insurance was price good for what we needed to have coverage for. We would purchase again from InsureMyTrip!

Like most insurance, I'm glad I didn't actually need to use it. But traveling in 3rd world countries required more peace of mind for this senior citizen. Medical & evacuation coverage were important to me & this policy seemed to have the right balance between benefits & cost.

Luckily we have not had to take advantage of this insurance for our last few trips, but it is reassuring to know its there in case we need it.....I guess that's what having insurance is all about.

I am a woman of a certain age who did not want to pay the portion that Medicare would not cover should I become ill or in an accident.
I felt safe w/your policy. The young lady who assisted me on the phone was familiar with her products, very respectful and eager to help me.
